With England entering a period of new restrictions on 5th November, The Parts Alliance have confirmed that all their branches will remain open throughout the 2nd national lockdown. The nationwide distributor wanted to reassure customers that their entire network will continue to be fully operational, particularly as many workshops are experiencing an uplift in MOT’s and may have concerns about parts availability over the coming weeks following the government’s announcement. As ever staff will continue to follow an array of strict safety measures, to keep customers safe when receiving parts from their local branch.

With Covid-19 cases continuing to increase, The Parts Alliance is encouraging garages to visit the Covid-19 section of their online Support Zone, which contains useful guidance and a range of downloadable resources. These include social distancing, face covering and sanitisation best practice posters. The Parts Alliance updates social distancing posters for “1m plus”

The Parts Alliance has updated the free social distancing posters available to customers.

Following the announcement this week that social distancing will reduce to “1m plus” – meaning a recommended minimum distance of 1m – The Parts Alliance has reacted quickly to update the support material available to garages.

The revised social distancing posters clearly show the 1m distancing requirement and are available to download free from the ‘Support Zone’ of the website.

“We welcome this news from the government,” said Simon Moore, Head of Marketing at The Parts Alliance. “We know customers are being responsible and cautious but this change provides more flexibility, and the potential to operate closer to full capacity again.”

The Parts Alliance say 2 metre social distancing versions remain available too for garages wishing to maintain their current systems to ensure staff and customers are kept as safe as is practically possible.

“We’ve been developing the resources available to garages,” said Simon. “They can also find free marketing material for battery testing and air conditioning servicing to maximise the opportunities presented by warm weather and people returning to use their cars more.”

Free Air Conditioning Marketing Material Available from The Parts Alliance

With warm weather set to return across the UK next week, and car air conditioning season in full swing, The Parts Alliance has produced a range of free air con materials to help garages earn.

The Parts Alliance to run Petronas oil promotion in June

The Parts Alliance has announced a June promotion on Petronas oil that will see two popular Petronas Syntium grades supplied in limited edition Formula One 200 litre barrels

Workshops can show motorists their commitment to quality, as the eye-catching barrel design celebrates the six consecutive Formula One World Championships won by the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.

For every special edition barrel purchased, garages will later also receive two free t-shirts, commemorating the team’s 6th F1 World Constructors’ Championship, achieved in 2019.

Petronas Syntium is an official technology partner of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.

The oil technologies developed and the experience gained in the world’s premier motor racing category have enabled the development of the premium engine oils UK garages now benefit from too.

The two Syntium oil grades included in the promotion are the 5000 DM 5W-30 and 7000 E 0W-30.
